So lets just blame the keeper
Yeah Roberto is not very good. Although if he'd not been at fault for the 2 goals and not made very good saves on 3 or 4 occasions we'd have lost by more.
But our squad yesterday had 11 internationals in it. Not one of them showed why. Burnley's squad had 4 internationals in it, two of them being Joe Hart and Aaron Lennon.
Their manager has them playing with heart and commitment, he paced the line barking out instructions. Ours didn't.
But it's still Roberto's fault.
Blaming the board, or the stadium, or the nouvelle fans is just papering over it. There's no heart in our team and I can't see that changing.
It's those North London cunts next game, who haven't won away yet this season. We all know whats gonna happen there.
I'd love to end by saying Come On You Irons, but at the moment it's more like Come On You Wimps.

Re: So lets just blame the keeper
The fucking greasy-haired tattoo-necked flapping idiot dickhead cunt was responsible for EVERY goal yesterday.

First goal: he elected to punch a cross that most competent ‘keepers would’ve caught comfortably in the lead up to the corner kick we conceded (regardless of the fact it wasn’t a corner but it was given).

Second goal: it was a fucking brain-dead throw to Balbuena who should’ve done better but he was put under immediate pressure

Third goal: the fucking clown punched the ball in his own net. Cunt.

As for the rest of the cowardly, gutless pathetic cunts; they can go fuck themselves too. Fucking soft touch passionless wankers.

Re: So lets just blame the keeper
The keeper was at fault for all three goals, explained well by Dicksie.

He did make at least 4 very good saves.

He, and the rest of them, all things considered, were awful. Perhaps Snodgrass gets a pass for effort. If they’d all put the same effort in, we would have had a good chance.

It’s time for some really hard words in the dressing room. They all need to have a good look at themselves.

Re: So lets just blame the keeper
Lets be honest, even the saves he made we'd expect a Premier League keeper to make. He'd be the first thing I'd change. He's had plenty of opportunity. Our other keeper may be worse but deserves a chance as it's almost guaranteed Roberto will gift a goal or two at the moment. Take him out the firing line.

Burnley had 14 shots yesterday, 12 of which were on target. Appalling marking by Roberto to let them have so many shots at goal.

Yeah, just what we want, another thread about this useless tosser.

For once I'm with Dicksie

Lock this shit.

He’s not very good. It is clear for a all to see. Whoever identified him and was responsible for signing him has a lot to answer for.

Re: So lets just blame the keeper
my original point is that yes, Roberto needs to be taken out of the team. Replacing him with a keeper that was 3rd choice for Millwall last season is the only option.
But my post was more about he rest, not as Any Old Iron succinctly put it, this useless tosser. What opinion AOI have you got on the other useless tossers? Before the post get locked at your request.

Re: So lets just blame the keeper
Pointing out that the keeper is absolutely fucking terrible does not mean that is the only problem we have with the team.

I hope that clears things up for anyone who thinks that.

Of he'd caught the ball instead of punching...
We might have had a chance of a point...or more...
He rarely catches...
Major defect ...

Re: So lets just blame the keeper
He could have caught that ball with one hand while standing on his head but we would never ever in a million years have got a point or more yesterday they were fucking appalling and an embarrassment 👍

What's my opinion of the other players? They're fucking brilliant. They're all so great I'm shocked to my core that we keep being thrashed.

It's all Roberto's fault. All of it.

Re: So lets just blame the keeper
our problems are all over the pitch. I really thought Central Defence was somewhere we could at least say we had no problems, then I look at Balbuena's performance yesterday. He was the main culprit, simply the worst outfield player by a mile. surely he has to be dropped?
Our attack is futile. Anderson is so ineffective this season, we try to pass through defences and get it pinched every single time. Our service to an isolated Haller is woeful. Hard to see him here Next season.
Our midfield....hang on what midfield? Now Noble and Lanzini are injured that hole just gets bigger. Rice will be off no doubt. We 2-3 midfielders next summer.

So yes Roberto is woeful and he's going to cost us at least one goal per game most probably, but he's being exposed by an unmotivated headless performances from those playing in front of him.

This is West Ham though, we lurch from crisis to crisis without ever seeming to learn from it
